The lower Wallis Road watermain project has shutdown for the summer time to allow uniterrupted use of the beach area and access to it. The project at this time is approximately 95% complete, most of the 1200' of new 12" watermain has been installed and in service. New connections to Parkridge, Oceanview and Appledore have been  made. In the fall after Labor Day weekend construction will resume to complete the project which should take a limited amout of time
